2. Brainstorm as a group about the meaning of the song.

 

3. The teacher asks questions about the meaning of the song and the images.

ARTS: In groups of three they will design their story boards on paper.

 

Review information about the issue: Relationship between equals.

 

 

 

MUSIC:They must decide on which style of music they want to compose for the video.

 

Individually they will decide on one of three programs related to their skills.

 

Beginner: SOUNDATION STUDIO

Intermediate: AUDACITY

Advanced: MUSESCORE

ARTS: They must send a story board to the teacher.

The teacher will give them feedback.

 

MUSIC:They will send the teacher a summary of their ideas of the music they are going to create.

 

Every one will send his/her teacher a draft with the music for the video for the program they have chosen. 

 

The teacher will give FEEDBACK to every one so that the student will know how to improve their skills using the program and/or as a composer.

 

ARTS AND MUSIC:

After working in this unit the students will be able to:
 
- Express ideas about the topic, trying to increase their critical thinking.
- Express ideas using more diverse vocabulary.
- Listen to music from their mates with constructive criticism.
- Read and understand the images, being aware of the meaning.
- Create a piece of music with three elements: rythm, pitch and timbre.
- Use the basic tools of a program to create a piece of music.
- Use the basic tools of a program to create images.
- Use a computer program to create a video.
 
For DIFERENTIATION we show the same criteria in a higher or lower level. 
We also ask the students to work in different kind of programs depending on different types of inteligences and interests they have.
